Founder & Main DesignerA Biomedical Engineering major doing pre-med who started the company based off personal experiences with schoolbags. She saw that this experience was not unique to herself. If someone does not do something it will never get done. This is why Luz Estelar was born so that people with disabilities can have bags that are made for them.
Alex Orlowski
Technical DesignerAlex serves as the Technical Designer for Luz Estelar, with over four years of experience working with CAD and technical design. Known for being relaxed, dependable, and collaborative, they are passionate about creating effective solutions and supporting others.
Angela Domingo
Communications ExpertAngela Domingo is a UCNJ alum with an AS in Hospitably from Elizabeth, New Jersey who has learned the basics, both in technical and in-person communication in the Hospitality and Tourism industry, as well with firsthand experience with communication in the industry. With a drive to resolve conflicts and provide the best customer experience possible, Angela is our dedicated communicator between staff and customers at Luz Estelar.
Ashley Paez
Artist & 3D ModelerAshley Paez (She/They) is a Multicreative Artist from Roselle, New Jersey currently finishing their 4+1 MFA in 2D Animation and Visual Effects. She’s collaborative, ambitious, and equipped with over six years of experience with creative programs, illustration work, and graphic design. With an eye for design and drive of visual storytelling, Ashley strives to promote our mission serving as Luz Estelar’s brand identity designer and product modeling artist.

Lisa Orlowski
Industry Leader & MentorLisa Orlowski brings over 30 years of experience in design, sales, customer experience, and executive relations. She began her career in 1989 at age 16, working for a leading interior design firm in New York City, where she developed a passion for design, space planning, and creating exceptional customer experiences. Throughout her career, Lisa has built a reputation for strong communication, relationship building, and resolving complex challenges. She spent 10 years in the electric vehicle industry, including 8 years with Tesla during a period of significant growth and innovation. Today, Lisa serves as an Executive Liaison Manager at Percepta, a global leader in automotive customer experience and communications. Specializing in executive relations, conflict resolution, and customer advocacy, she works with clients to navigate high-stakes situations and develop solutions that balance customer needs with business objectives. As a mentor, Lisa brings a practical, people-centered approach to leadership, helping young entrepreneurs build strong relationships, effective communication skills, and sustainable business practices.
John Orlowski
Industry Leader & MentorWIT Alumnus ‘95 BS in Industrial Design - Product developer with 30 years combined experience in footwear development and trade show production. Mentor, guide, sounding board, and cheerleader.
